In collaboration with Martin Yeoh from MLC Productions, UNIFORM was commissioned to create “Blackheart” for Singapore’s first fashion film festival. This inaugural event is organized by THEM.SG and curated by multi-label fashion retailer, Blackmarket. The film was chosen to be featured in ASVOFF 2011, in Paris, by Thread On Frame’s organizers. The film explores bipolar disorder through a fashion lens, with a focus on the severe fluctuations in mood — from serenity, to mania, to depression — that alienates people with the condition.
